Is there a system in place to give keys to dog walkers?
I live in an apartment building and I'm not sure where I would leave a key if I didn't have a meet and greet prior.

I would consider a "key lock box" (aka "key safe," "realtor lock box") for $20-$30 on Amazon or at the local hardware store. It locks around your door knob and contains a key inside. Be sure the lockbox has a changeable combination so you can reset it if/when too many people know the combo.

That's brilliant!
For many of my clients with apartments, the owner will leave a copy of the key at the front desk. This gives them peace of mind that I've shown my ID to someone in the office. Then, if it's a one-time thing, I return the key after the walk.
