How does the additional dog rate work?

Hi again! (and again and again!)

OK, I think I am overthinking all of this. But how does the additional dog rate work? For example, I have my overnight rate set to $22 per night, and $10 for an additional dog.

So, since I have a 2 dog maximum per client, does that mean I am charging $22 for one dog, and their second dog is $10? Also, if I left the "additional dog" section blank, does that mean I'm charging $22 for each dog?

Yes. ($22 for one dog, and their second dog is $10) Yes. (If the "additional dog" section blank, does that mean I'm charging $22 for each dog)

As others have pointed out, feel free to change your additional dog rate as necessary. You can always modify a booking to reflect a personalized quote. For example, if you have one adult dog and one puppy, you might want to charge higher than your usual Additional Dog price. The good thing about Rover is that it allows a lot of tailoring to our clients :)

Remember you can change the rate you are charging per night/per dog individually for a stay also. Depending on individual needs circumstances.
