Dominant expression. Does not view the person as their leader. An expression of will to power. Should be discouraged.

What if a dog fart on you

Dogs sit, lay, lean and put their feet/face on things that belong to them. This is a dominance move and should be immediately discouraged. If your dog sits on you, move away or gently move them off and you can let them lay next to or near you but not on you. If you want your dog to lay on you, it should always be invitation only for lap sitting, etc... but don't allow your dog to lay on your feet or face as this is their way of saying you belong to them.
