Why am I not listed as a dog sitter in my area, even though my Rover profile was approved, and I am listed as available?

My profile was approved on March 22nd, but for some reason, when I search for myself on http://Rover.com under Find a Sitter, my profile does not appear. What could be the problem?

Hey Christopher,

If you are logged in to Rover you may not find yourself in searches, you should log out, or use a different web browser. I looked at your profile and searched in Weehawken and you showed up on page 2 #2. To improve your ranking take the Rover 101 quiz, and consider placing tearoff flyers on public bulletin boards, I found Starbucks to be a good source for me. It does take time to get your first clients, for some it happens quickly, for some it takes several months. Best of luck and lots of success.

Hey Walt, I actually was able to find myself when I zoomed in on a map lol. And I will definitely try to hand out some tearoff flyers as well. Thanks for the advice, I appreciate your input. :)

Hi Christopher:

When I click on the blue Book a Stay link under your name, you look like you are active under Dog Walking and Drop In Visits. When you search for yourself, are you clicking under those services? (Default general search is Boarding) Your area may have pages of sitters so you may have to search each page for your profile.
