Why do you have to modify through Rover to change a booked stay?

I have a client whose schedule changes all the time. Sometimes from day to day. Is there another way that we can change this without going through Rover each time?

What if I am scheduled to walk her dog tomorrow but we changed it to next week and Rover has not made the change yet? Does this affect my score and availability to other prospective clients?

If you verbally agree to change the day of service you, your client and the dog won't be covered by the insurance - should something happen.

I will have to agree with the previous answer and add that like any other service provider or human daycare, once you reserve a spot, it is yours and often cannot be filled last minute if you cancel so I would not allow constant changes like that without payment. Being that we are private sitters and walkers, every dog is a huge percentage of our revenue potential and when a client keeps making changes, they are literally taking a huge chunk of your revenue and you should be compensated. If this particular client's schedule is so inconsistant, I would suggest she books the night before every service and not so much in advance and that she be made aware that with last minute cancellation refunds are not offered.
