I am new and wondering who sets the fees?

Hi, Victoria! Welcome to Rover. As a sitter, Rover will keep 20% of your earnings. This fee is for using the platform (since it provides the payment and reservation process), insurance, access to Rover Support, etc. You will be paid 80% of each reservation 48 hours after the end of the stay. For your clients, there is a 5-7% fee in addition to the total for each reservation booked through Rover. If you meant the fee associated with the services you're providing, you have the ability to set your own rates.
