How drop-in visits extended stay rate works?

Hi, I am not sure about how the drop-in visit Extended Rate works.

Does an extended rate mean that I stay longer than 30 minutes?, or does it mean that I would do 2 or more drop-in visits per day?. I have problems with a client that wants me to go twice per day to take care of her two french bulldogs. First thing that I notice is that every time she books with the "Drop-in/Extended stay" option, Rover automatically charges for each dog even when my settings says that I DO NOT charge for an additional dog for Drop-in visits, this always creates misunderstandings since the customer thinks that I'm charging twice the price agreed. Also she request the extended rate because she assumes that the extended rate means that I will go twice per day, however when I receive the booking request and I check on the field "visits per day" it says 1, and the extended rate is applied for both dogs when it should be just one. I always have to make the adjustment manually to reflect 2 visits per day, and 20 dollars rate for one of the dogs while the second dog is $0. Anyways, I just want to make sure how the customers should request the service when they want 2 drop-in visits per day, also I want to make sure that rover doesn't charge per dog when I have established that I do not charge per additional dog.

I agree with Walt. The extended rate gets applied to all dogs over the extended time you specify, as listed in the rate area. The appropriate booking is needed here (2 drop ins per day) and if you want to make a different rate (higher or lower) for the stay, then you can make an adjustment. Please read through this link regarding rates from the Help Center: https://support.rover.com/hc/en-us/ar...

Since the current booking and rebooking option are causing problems I suggest you ask your client to create a new drop in booking for 2 visits per day. But 1st I would remove the extended rate stay rate as I suspect that is causing the problem
