I keep getting sitter search results that won't take an intact dog, or no in sitters home services (just house sitting and walking) even though that's the search parameter I start with, or want females only, or don't do large dogs, or want crate trained only, etcetera. Is there an advanced search criteria somewhere so I can get relevant sitters?
Unfortunately, Rover doesn't have an advanced search capability so that you can filter results by the things you've mentioned. Possibly the best thing for you to do is call RoverMatch, which can help you find a sitter. This specialized service is provided free of charge to you. Be sure to tell them that you'd like some advanced search filters. They really do need to hear it from customers.
As Karen recommended, call customer support. I called Rover support when searching for care for my dog. They told me that they have additional filters, which helps them suggest the right sitter for your needs. Those search criteria aren't visible to users conducting their own searches.
