Why is availability not updating on calendar for recurring weekly walks?

I have a client that just started with recurring walks on T, W, Th, F for her puppy. My calendar availability shows the walk booked this last week (the first week of the recurring walk) but does not show it as booked for next week or the weeks after and it looks like I'm available to do more walks. Everything that I look at shows the client set it up correctly and it should recur weekly. Why would it not show me as booked for a walk for the next several weeks?

I don't think this is very helpful for the recurring appointments . I would like it to show unavailable time slots also on here. It saves me from having to connect with requests - If a new client is looking for me to walk their dog in the morning and I already am booked in the morning?

It would be helpful if calendar can show Unavailable at the time of walks/services you already have. ?
