Is there a way to change locked rates?

When I first started, my rates were pretty low. So, over time, as I have raised them, I have locked in rates for good clients. But this week when I had 2 different clients book and they are getting my initial starting rate - that is just way too low! But I don't want to charge them my current rate. How can I change their rate to something in-between?
