I want to start my own pet sitting business to go along with my rover gigs but I don’t know how to hand out cards except at dog parks. Can I leave my business card along with my rover business card to rover clients or will I get in trouble with rover?
You agreed to the Rover terms of service which in theory says you cannot take clients off the Rover platform. However, it happens all the time! It's your business and you can choose to run it the way you wish. Best of luck
If you're wanting to promote your own business, you can hand out or leave your business card at dog parks, dog friendly places, and in person. There is No conflict in doing so, as long as you don't take someone who connected with you through rover off the rover booking platform.
Witt clients that you connect with who did not come through rover, it's entirely up to you to handle the booking and payment on your own or convert them over to rover clients, which is an option that is supposed to only go one-way ,
