What happens if your archive Rover requests due to the owners not responding? Does it affect your rank in the Rover searches?

My understanding from talking with support is that if the owner doesn't respond, archiving doe not affect search rank.

However, I don't work in their office and rover is fairly secretive about how the mysterious algorythm determines rank (other then the obvious sitter/walker response time to each request, 100% updates sent to booked clients daily, and percent of requests/repeats booked).
