I would like to do a meet and greet first before booking the week we need services. How do I do this? It won't let me move forward without paying for my week in advance it seems.

The system asks about dates to help filter out those who are unavailable. It is highly recommended you have a meet & greet before booking. Please ignore the "Book It Now" button until after you've decided who you want to provide pet services.
You may simply text/email the pet sitter you are interested in through the Rover App.
I like to see the pet at home or in the park with their owner, just so I know where the pet’s “norm” is. It is useful in determining the rate and wether the dog and you (sitter) are a “fit” or not.
They are not in their normal setting and will not behave as in their own home.
