New to Rover so this might be a dumb question, but do we need to provide the leashes? Or does the client do so?

Are supposed to be providing the leashes/poop bags etc?

When a dog stays with me, I require that the dog is wearing a collar/harness with I.D. tags and must have a leash, a regular one and not the retractable type. Sometimes the owner has a poop bag dispenser attached to the leash, but I usually remove it and I do use my own supplies. I have one client whose dog has the strangest leashes; so I use one of my own.

The expectation is that each dog booked will have it’s own leash (and I like their leash attached to their harness which fits the dog as well as a collar with their ID tags). However, there are times when you may prefer to have your own spare leashes (which allows you to choose the type of grip, length, material, etc. as well as maintain the level of cleanliness) and sometimes it’s helpful to have a spare collar with a tag with your number- just in case the dog is wearing nothing. Although some rover dogs come with poop bags, I almost never use them. In addition to bags I purchased, where I live, there are many bag dispensing stations that I use while walking.
