Is a cockapoo and cotton de tulear mix common?

My family are thinking of getting a puppy which is a mix between a cockapoo and a cotton de tulear. However I haven’t seen many of these mixes online. Is this more common than we realise and do you think there will be any complications due to this mix ?

I don’t think that’s a common mix. Both are great breeds. If you find one posted online through either a shelter or rescue group, they may be listed (correctly or incorrectly)as whatever is the best guess of the primary breed or as a mixed breed. Generally, a mixed breed is healthier than a pure breed.

Please consider adopting from a shelter or rescue first. Lots of truly wonderful puppies & dogs end up there through No fault of their own - the humans who had them couldn’t honor a Lifelong commitment (which maybe over 20 years) or didn’t spay/ neuter.

Cotons are not a common breed at all.
