If this is a puppy, toy destruction is normal behavior. Similar to teething, dogs suffering from allergies will nibble and chew toys. No toy is 100% distractible, if the dog is in that mode. However some are better options than others.

One suggestion is to get a Kong toy (they have ones made for all levels of toughness, including extreme chewers, in various shapes) and place wet food in there. If she’s eating dry food, just rehydrated by placing it in a little water first and waiting for it to puff up. Place the food loaded Kong in the freezer. Give it to her as a frozen treats that she can lick and chew her meal from. That’s one way to keep the dog busy and not add extra calories.

Depending on the breed, age, fitness level, the dog might need more of walk time daily. (I have a small sporting breed and he’s always had a minimum of four walks a day, totaling at least two hours.)
