how can i keep my yard clean from hook worms?
I don't want the dogs in my care to catch hook worms. One of our regular stay owner reported that his dog has hook worms.

The easiest way to prevent your home being infested with both parasites and worms is to only welcome dogs into your home that are on a preventative for fleas and worms and have their vet check feces sample annually or every six months (for presence of parasites). That may not be a popular action, but the health and safety of my dog, me, my home is worth it.
