How much time for a dog walk??

I am new to Rover and offer dog walking. I'm curious about how long most folks walk a client's dog. I have not read anything in Rover's materials about the recommended duration of a dog walk. Just it depend on what the client wants or do we, as Rover dog walkers, decide on the time and duration?

Owners pay according to the amount of time, as described here and in your rate table:

When a customer books a walk with you, they're expecting a 30-minute walk. If they elect for the longer, 60-minute walk, then they pay the amount you've specified for that extended period.

PS, your drop-in rate should be the same as your rate to walk since they're both for 30 minutes. If you have that lower drop-in rate, then customers are going to book that instead, while still expecting you to walk their dog. You should fix it and all the rates within so they mirror each ASAP.

I would slightly disagree on the drop in vs walk pricing. For a drop in they are almost always 30 minutes or less per the owners instructions and involve a lot of sitting and petting whereas a walk is physically taxing and usually between arrival and departure takes more like 45 minutes.

Fine, you are entitled to disagree. However, many walkers clock the visit as arrival at door to departure being a total of 30 minutes.
