What to do if dog stops on leash and wont move? Not treat motivated?
New rescue dog, Bernese mountain dog, does great on leash just sometimes will stop and not budge.

I don’t have experience with Bernese mountain dogs. However, for dogs who are not treat motivated, sometimes using a squeaky toy (or if you don’t have one in your pocket, making a squeaky noise or something such as bird calling noise that gets the dog’s attention focused on you) will help.
