Is checking in on dogs around 730-8pm and coming back at 7am OKAY?

The couple is out of the country, and originally told me to check in twice a day.. morning and evening. Which is not enough so I go an extra time, I said 25 a day and he offered 30 so I think it's only right & he doesnt mind the extra visit. I do live very close but we go to bed around 745-8 (my kids and I) so thats my latest check in time. As soon as they get on the bus in the morning, I head back over. I feel like this is long to wait but at the same time, that's when my dogs go out again in the AM & theyre fine. These dogs I'm checking in on...one refuses to pee outside because of rain. They know she has accidents. Just curious for opinions. They're really great people and didn't give any specified time frames. I usually go above and beyond too so gave their pups toys, send daily check in messages and plan to clean their dog hair up well, take trash out and mop the floor etc. on my last day there. They did give wifi and say stay as long as you want but Im uncomfortable especially when I have the kids too.

Is there a chance you could head over to do a quick let out before waking the kids for the day? Then that gives you the ability to do another let out closer to lunch and plan on leaving the last one no earlier than 7. It really shouldn't be longer than 6-8 hours between breaks for average size adult

I see nothing weird with this time frame. I myself take my own dogs out at 8 pm and then 7am. Nothing wrong with this at all. You're doing great.

You have been exceptionally flexible and reasonable in this arrangement based on the agreement you made with this client. Yes, In answer to your question. The most important part is transparent communication. In this instance, I’d suggest sending an update for each visit via the rover platform, (which they can read later and/or be referenced by rover staff if necessary).

Personally, I wouldn’t agree to that dog only twice a day because I don’t think that meets most dogs’ needs, unless they can relieve themselves in a clean indoor doggy bathroom area. During a meet and greet, I would discuss. Once it’s booked, it’s agreed to. $30 sounds like an amazing price for 3 visits, especially if you’re cleaning up accidents daily, even in PA.
