Fun Lake and Mountain Adventures

Pet care experience

Your dog will be lovingly cared for in my home. I only take two daycare Rover dog. We will go on a daily trail walk or hike. I have an invisible fence, but your dog will still be supervised during outdoor play. I live on Squam Lake so they'll be swim time and boating adventures in season. I have two friendly dogs and one cat who gets along with dogs. I know of many dog friendly off-leash trails. In order for your dog to fit into our adventures it needs to be able to be off leash and come when it’s called. I've raised puppies through their senior years for 30 years. Have taken dog training classes . I don't work outside the home Sept through June. I love to take pictures so you will get lots of them while they are with me. Your dog also needs to be up-to-date on its shots as mine are. Follow me on instagram at SquamRover

Cynthia shared photos of the many places she visited with them. They and we enjoyed working with her. We will use her again.

This was my first time taking Ollie to a pet sitters house but I felt very comfortable leaving him with Cindy. He was such a happy boy when I picked him up after his stay. She sent photos each day of his adventures swimming, boating and walking.

Cynthia was amazing. I was brand new to using Rover and had to find a last minute sitter for my older Shih-Tzu as I had a full-day interview at a nearby university, and I was worried my little guy might bark in the hotel room. I loved the personal attention she gives to pets she sits, and I don’t doubt for a minute that Patch felt at home in her place. It was a huge relief for me to not have to worry about him while I was doing my thing. I would recommend Cynthia 100%, and I’ll certainly consider using her services again if I’m in the area.

Our first time using Rover and Cindy... It was such a great experience and really felt like a home away from home for our 4 month old pup. Cindy kept us up to date with pictures and text messages letting us know how Nellie was doing & we could see the love she was getting. When Nellie came home she seemed sad to leave her new friends. We can't say enough good things about the care Cindy provides. She made our travel that much more enjoyable knowing our Dog was in a loving home that was excited to have her. The exercise that Cindy provides is also amazing! We look forward to many more day & boarding visits with Cindy.

Information Cynthia O. would like to know about your pet

I would want to know if your dog has any food allergies or dietary restrictions. I would also want to know if they are up-to-date on their shots. I would like to know how obedient they are. For example, do they come when they're called? I would also like to know if they have a nickname?

A typical day

I usually walk or a hike around the Squam Lakes area. There are over 50 miles of dog friendly trails. Manny with access to swimming. Your dog will also enjoy playing in my yard with my dogs. If they enjoy swimming and fetching I will throw balls for them in the water. In the warmer seasons we will go boating out to Island's on the lake and walk the trails there and swim from beaches. In the winter we go cross country skiing and snowshoeing out on the lake or on the trails around Squam. On rainy days that aren't too hot your dog will run errands with me often stopping at the bank for dog treats in the drive-thru. In the winter they will be able to sit by a cozy fire in the living room. My husband makes homemade beef jerky and turkey jerky that he shares with the dogs.
