Valerie did an absolutely wonderful job watching our large breed dog & housesitting for 3 days/4 nights. During our initial meet and greet I was immediately put at ease by Valerie's approach to interacting with our anxious and excitable pup. During her time with our girl, Valerie was incredibly communicative providing lots of updates and photos. She was tolerant of our dogs quirks, such as her need to steal and carry socks around the house and sometimes on walks, but also lent her training expertise to ensure our pups walks were enjoyable for everyone involved. As an anxious dog parent to a large and anxious dog, I had complete peace of mind having Valerie care for our girl and would highly recommend her to others! I cannot sing her praises enough!

Val is great! She takes the time to meet your pets and get to know them so you know they’re in good hands. She also sends lots of pictures and checks in with you so you know when she’s stopped by, which I greatly appreciate. I’ve never once worried about my pets in her care! It does seem like she gets busy though so it’s good to have a backup option but she’s always tried to her best to make it work for all of our requests even over the holidays which is nice

Valerie took such good care of my two cats while I was gone. I got so many great photos and updates and my boys were very happy, she was even able to get my notoriously shy kitty out and playing. I normally worry about leaving my cats when I go on vacation, but this time I felt really confident and comfortable that they were being well taken care of. Will definitely be using her services again in the future.

My dog is always watched by my friend when I go out of town, but due to unforeseen circumstances they were unable to. I knew I did not want to board my dog, so I did some research and thought Rover would be a good option. As soon as Valerie can over to meet my dog Nellie, I felt my stress alleviate because I could tell she was in good hands. Valerie made the whole process very easy yet thorough, and I knew I would have nothing to worry about. I returned home to a happy dog which is exactly what I wanted. I will definitely utilize Valerie for any future trips I take and would recommend her to other pet owners in the area!

Valerie is caring, professional, and communicative! She went above and beyond to make sure that our anxious senior pup was as comfortable and happy as possible while we were gone by keeping up her positive reinforcement training and giving her enrichment activities to do during the day. She even recommended new toys and treats which our dog loved! She sent detailed updates and cute pictures during her visits, and when we got home, we could tell our pup had been so well cared for. I wanted to find the best sitter for our first weeklong vacation away, and Valerie was just that and more. We would highly recommend booking with Valerie!

Valerie was so good with our girls (dog and cat). She stayed over with them for three nights. It was apparent from her updates and photos/videos that our pets were happy and relaxed. We have an anxious dog so making sure she’s comfortable is important. She even eat more dinner with Valerie than she does with us and she normally doesn’t eat when we’re gone. Our place was super clean and just how we left it. We would highly recommend Valerie to anyone who needs a walker or pet sitter!!!

Valerie is AMAZING! She traveled all the way to Charleston and treated our two kitties, Potter and Luna, like family. Poor Luna is very shy and gets scared when we leave and someone else comes in. She always hides under the bed, and doesn't want to come out. Valerie went to great lengths to befriend her and get her to come out from under the bed and even out of her shell! She and Potter were also fast friends! I always feel so apprehensive leaving them, particularly poor Luna. Valerie went above and beyond to comfort her and to care for and play with both of them. There's no denying that she's an animal lover and very caring person, but she is also quite skilled and knowledgable. We were completely comfortable with her, and it made our trip so much easier. That's saying a LOT, because I hate leaving them. She was very accessible and professional, and kept us updated with texts and pictures. She did exactly what we agreed on, and went well above and beyond that. I cannot recommend her highly enough! There is no one better. Now, please just don't book her when I need her! : )

I’m so glad I found Valerie! She’s very thorough and competent - my dog Remi loved her too! My dog is leash-aggressive and is difficult to walk, but he did great with Valerie! Also, I loved the pictures she sent.
