About: Growing up around dogs, they have become my passion. I have a dog of my own, a spunky Australian Shepherd-Golden Retriever mix who has been with me for 12 years. I have a Dogsafe certificate in canine first aid. I worked at Houndaway, a doggy daycare and boarding service, for two years. I have experience with every size dog from extra-small to extra-large, from puppy to senior, and am comfortable around each and every breed. I have experience in providing care, feeding, cleaning up after, and administering medication to various dogs. I have looked after 1-50+ dogs at one time for hours on end. Additionally, I have stayed overnight multiple times watching over 5-10 dogs. I am ready to use my experience and passion to provide your furry companion with the best care possible. I am university student at Wilfrid Laurier, and am completing a BA in Law and Society. I have an extremely flexible schedule ready to fit you and your dog's needs. I am available for mornings, afternoons and evenings during the week and weekends. With experience in caring for all types of dogs, I keep an eye on each dog's individual needs. Whether it is through play breaks, rest time, water breaks, walks, enrichment, or their feeding time, I make sure to provide what the dog needs in that frame of time. For each client's home, I make sure I am always aware of my environment and surroundings in order to keep the dog's safety as my number one priority.
