“Selena's kindness, empathy, patience, and consciousness were apparent from the moment my pup (Raka) and I met her, and throughout until the end of Raka's visit. By the end of Raka's stay, I could see my normally shy and anxious dog loved her and was sad to leave. In addition to the love and affection Selena provided, she also made sure Raka had plenty of play, exercise, and socialization, and helped address her anxieties re being in a new environment early on. Selena provided regular updates and let me know if she had any questions, which I very much appreciated. In addition to being very conscientious, responsible, and detail-oriented, it is evident that Selena sincerely loves animals, would do anything to protect and care for them, and that she is a really good person. I hope Raka will have the opportunity to stay with Selena again sometime because I know she would be in excellent hands (and arms/cuddles).”

“Jeff was amazing with our dog and incredibly accommodating. He truly cares about the animals and makes sure you feel comfortable with leaving a part of your family with him. We had a mishap with our travel and he was so great and rolled with it. I am positive chuck has been depressed since leaving Jeff and his family. “I was quite nervous to board my Potcake rescue for the first time. She is anxious and afraid alot of the time. Josh and Rui were amazing. Being gentle with her and letting my Roxy play in their great backyard throughout the day. Rui even provided Roxy some needed medication. I loved the frequent updates and Rui quick responses. Altogether a great first experience with Rover. Thanks to Rui and Josh for being such great hosts.”

“First time Annika was boarded at someone’s house, and her first time being separated from me without her brother AND her being new to Downtown (we lived in the middle of no where prior) And the absolutely crushed it! Annika was immediately welcomed and loved into their home. She had a few accidents early (probably nerves) and they were patient and understanding and continued to work with her and poof! She was comfortable and no more accidents! Their dog Cy is the best companion to play with. And the constant pictures , videos and updates made me feel like I right there! Will be coming back to them anytime we need a sitter and and absolutely would recommend 10/10 times.”

I always get so anxious leaving him but she provided so many text, photo and video updates that I didn’t have to worry at all and could enjoy the trip. Marieke is such a kind human and took care of him and loved him as if he were her own! He was so much happier than when he’s stayed at a kennel in the past.
