About: Our home is dog friendly and yard is fenced. Experienced with 40-60lbs medium sized dogs. I always provide several walks a day and especially before pickup. Experienced with sheepadoodles, golden doodles, and Huskies. Happy to meet all breeds though! We walk dogs in the morning, at lunch, and before dinner. Play is encouraged in our yard. Home is beside large park with trails for easy walking. We have a fenced large yard and live beside a large park with numerous walking trails. Our home has a large mudroom for cleaning up after long walks in the park. Two large beds offer a choice for roaming around. We care for pets as if they were our own. I try not to have more than one long-term dog at a time unless from the same family. My daughter is 5 and very dog friendly.

About: I first started to help taking care of our family dog since I was about 7 years old, but had a big interest and passion for all animals long before that. I would babysit friends' rabbits, lizards, hamsters, and guinea pigs whenever I got the chance and participated in after school programs where I could interact with animals for all of my childhood years. I started taking my family dog on walks, brushing her and feeding her as soon as my parents allowed me to, and continued to do so until I moved out on my own for university. A few years later, my now husband and I brought home a dog of our own, which we raised from a 7-week old pup into the good girl that she is today! She has excellent recall and manners and I believe that is a testament to how we care for, understand, and treat her and all dogs. I am often called a dog whisperer as I have an innate ability to understand the behaviour and signals from dogs of all demeanours, and have always had an easy time understanding their needs. I love all dogs like they're my own, and care deeply about the well-being of every single one! So rest assured, if your dog is with me, they'll be in the best possible hands receiving the best possible care. They will be cared for and happy every moment they are with me. We walk our dog, Kaya, once a day usually for at least an hour, guaranteeing off-leash time for her to run and fetch. We also encourage playing in the backyard with various toys and sticks, and the occasional game of fetch (if the weather permits). Kaya is friendly and gets along well with all dogs. She is very quiet (does not bark) and submissive and gentle. We have had other dogs stay with us and while it is a small adjustment at first, she usually enjoys having a pal around to play with! My full-time job is a fully remote position, meaning I work from home office. I have a very understanding employer who gives us the flexibility to respond to anything that may need my attention if it arises during the workday. My 6-year-old, sweet and gentle Golden Retriever, Kaya, usually lays by my side during the day, or in her bed in our bedroom. I am able to attend to her, or any other dog that may be hanging out with us, at basically any time. I let her out occasionally in the morning and afternoon, which is when I would do the same for your pup should they want to play and hang out in our big, fenced-in backyard. We never crate trained our girl, so it would be a bit of a tough dynamic to crate a dog while ours roams free (and is probably confused). However if a crate is supplied, we'd be happy to provide the same care and routine you provide for your pup—crate and all! For walks, we'd stay on leash until we enter a fully fenced-in off-leash area. The trails we frequent are at Shubie Park, Point Pleasant Park, or the Dartmouth Commons. Our dog loves to fetch so there will definitely be a ball involved, and in the warmer months, our dog loves to swim! So if that's something your dog would enjoy, it'd be a perfect match :)

“Milo loved Allison and had a great day full of exercise and playing! Allison sent pictures often throughout the day and was very easy to communicate with. I will definitely be hiring her again!”
11. Lucy M.
“Our puppy has severe separation anxiety and as our schedule has changed we needed to find a solution for her to be safe while we are at work/ school. Lucy replied really quickly and we were able to meet up to introduce our dogs and see if Thali will fit in their routine for daycare 3 days a week. I can speak for Thali saying that she had the time of our life last week, lots of playtime and walks and she has found a new best friend in Rosie and Lucy. I am so grateful for Lucy and Rosie to have take Thali in and we are looking forward for few weeks of fun ay daycare :)”
12. Mary B.

About: I cannot get enough of fur babies. I personally own 2 Cockapoos who are gentle playmates and love other dogs. My family is always looking for new friends to hang out with. I currently work from home as a hairdresser. I take every afternoon off to walk my own dogs and I have space in the day to take dogs outside and do other activities. I have a spacious home which makes it available for access outside and inside all day. I take great pride and respect, other people, spaces, and my own, which is evident as you arrive in my house. I believe leaving things exactly how it was left.

“Brandon is the most caring and responsible pet owner I know. He loves cuddles and nose kisses from his dog King. I would definitely recommend Brandon to watch any dog. He has the biggest heart. Brandon likes to play ball with King and gives him lots of treats. Brandon is definitely a dog person. I have a chocolate lab and black lab who are spoiled rotten. Brandon is awesome around my chocolate lab (Sophie) who has a hard time getting to know new people and she took to Brandon almost instantly! Abbie the momma black lab loves him too!
