“Merran went above and beyond for my cat while we were away. Unfortunately my cat got mischievous and ate half a bag of Temptations. Resulting in the poops, Merran cleaned up messes and even asked to do laundry to help. She also watered our plants and did everything she could to make Jade feel more comfortable. “Ashley was great for catsitting & housesitting! We let her know that we wouldn't have cell service where we went away to, but she still sent us daily updates and photos of our cats. We came home and found the house clean and two cats that were well taken care of. I will definitely use Ashley again in the future, if she's available.”

“Lynn has been a lover of animals, mainly dogs, since she was a young child. She grew up with at least one dog and a cat. She willingly fed, cared for and walked dogs. She rescued a beautiful Kuvacz (?sp) while she worked in the USA. They were constant companions but due to Pet restrictions, she had to give her up to her parents. Later, when she finally was able to but her own home, she was able to rescue a total of 4 dogs. She is unable to have pets where she lives currently, but know some dogs and their families would enjoy times and outings with Lynn.”

About: I have had dogs of various breeds and ages for most of my adult life and would happily have more (if my wife let me!) I am experienced with every age from puppy to super senior, feeding, walking, bathing, light grooming, personal care and definitely snuggles and play time! I am retired and therefore very flexible for daytime or overnight care. I am typically early to bed, early to rise so morning and afternoons visits are best. I am happy to walk, feed, crate, cuddle and play with your pet in his/her own environment, be it home or neighbourhood. I can also take your fur-baby to dog parks to socialize with others or on small, local adventures to explore new sights and smells.

“Heidi looked after my dog many times and I can't say enough good things about her. She is reliable and trustworthy. I always know my dog is in good hands and she treats him like her own. Lots of walks and play time. He's a bit of a bolter and she's always very careful about keeping him on leash when not in a secure area. I know I can always trust him to be in her care. She is always very responsible and follows my instructions to a T. Would highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with stubborn dogs and have always been great with animals. We always had bigger dogs such a mastiv's so working with bigger dogs isn't new to me. I am currently a student who attends school online/out of town. My schedule is very flexible due to this and I only have to be out of town for 2-3 days a month. I live in a condo so many walks are key when housing pets, it is a very quiet building which is great for any type of reactive or shy dog. There are many squirrels in the back for dogs to watch during the day.

“Jillian looked after my grumpy cat Wilfred while I was gone for a week checking in on him daily, even though I told her she doesn’t have to as long as she went every second or third day, but she insisted she did not mind going daily, as she lived nearby. She even cleaned the Cat litter enclosure better than what I left it. My cat Wilfred really appreciated her visiting. He shockingly sat with her on the couch and laid next to her when she was watching a show which he does not like to do. I also met Jillian’s dog who is very sweet, well trained and very loving. Jill is an amazing person and has the biggest heart for people an especially animals”

About: I’m a lover of all types of dogs, I have almost always had a dog in my house and I currently own one bassethound and a cat. I would love to walk, run, visit and play with your dog in those busy times that you’re unable to. I desperately want to work in an animal shelter but due to a busy schedule I am unable to currently, which is why I would be thrilled to hang out with your pet when I have the time. I can’t house sit your dog as my animals love their domain to themselves but as I mentioned before, I would love to give your animal some extra love and exercise. I hope to meet your fur friend very soon :) I am a full time student with a part time job but I would love to care for your pet in the times that I have free. I have a large enclosed yard for your pups to play in, my home is very dog friendly with lots of space to hang out.
