“This was our first time using Rover.com & with Gretel. Upon meeting Gretel at a greet & meet we knew she & her team were the right fit for our 2 yr old Standard Poodle Ramona. Ramona's first time at doggy daycare, she was quite shy & very nervous (which is hard on our hearts too!), but the kindness & love Gretel gives can be felt right from the get go. This certainly puts us at ease when leaving our baby with her, in fact upon picking her up, Ramona was excited to see me but also wanted to still hang with Gretel! She also throughout the day sent a video with our girl hanging with new doggo friends & pic! We highly recommend her services & to bringing our girl back for more doggy daycare visits & future sleepover!”

Ten years ago, while teaching in Ethiopia, they rescued a street dog that had been hit by a car. They coaxed him into their home, cared for him and eventually brought him back to Canada. “Mark is amazing in his love and care for dogs. Over more than 15 years, I have seen how he interacts with each of the dogs he has had. He gives each of them lots of personal interaction every day. His dogs are fed and walked on a regular schedule. They get numerous breaks to do business as well as run around in his large enclosed yard. Seeing how they interact with him when he comes back to his house tells you how much they love him. Mark took care of my own dog Barney on numerous occasions where I had to travel. Barney loved spending time with he and his dogs. I trusted him completely to take care of Barney. I have also seen him care for other people’s dog and they were all well taken care of. His 3 dogs are well behaved and get along well with dogs in the neighborhood as well as other dogs he has taken care of. I highly recommend him for doggy day care or overnight boarding.”

About: It's not another job for me. Caring for dogs is aligned with my purpose of serving dogs in need. I play, I walk, and I run the dogs. I have resigned from my job to take control of my passion and purpose in life. I am a Peak performance coach for entrepreneurs, and I am working on an idea to serve pets in the world with sustainable pet feed. I have an Australian Cattle dog! Her name is Bindi. She is highly affectionate and needs a lot of exercise. She needs regular walks, play sessions, and ball fetching. I take care of her feeding and regular vet appointments. I am creative when it comes to playing with my dog. In other words, I become my dog to play with her. You heard it correctly. Otherwise, it's all chores, which I am not committed to.
