About: My Boston Terrier and I live a quiet and peaceful life - except when its play time. I have had dogs all my life. I consider myself a dog person, the type "normal" people think are weird. I live alone, and work from home, so I am home everyday. I live right next to Memorial Park which is a frequently visited place for playing ball. My home has a large fully fenced back yard, and I basically live in my dogs house. She's the boss. She loves to play and chase and have tug-of-war matches. And, we would love to share our little world with some like minded friends - for all day, or just a visit. My dog is a smaller than average Boston, so our best play mates are of the smaller variety. I've lived in my home for about 25 years, know all my neighbors, and enjoy a nice friendly neighborhood with little traffic and noise. I have a total clean and sober home, no smoking. Feel free to contact me for he "tour" and so meet Mia. I currently work from home. I am an artist and I work for the State. I'm home everyday. I never leave my dog alone, and will never leave yours either. At my house we will enjoy indoor outdoor access all day - running from the back yard into the house and back again. My large yard is fully fenced. We live one door down from a park where we go to play ball and take walks. I have healthy treats and a big basket of toys.

This was a huge relief because it took away the burden of the uncertainty of what to do with our dog. Bari also knew how to handle our dog with the other dogs even though she was fearful. “She was very patient and flexible with my ever changing plans due to weather and my commitments to be at a friend’s bday. I was not able to drop my dog off , but she was more willing to take my smaller dog in and cage him in a quiet room so he would feel safe. She also agreed to take him out for a walk. Due to the weather the same day we confirmed, but on the way cancelled and paid for the day care as this is her livelihood. We could have asked to cancel, but that is not what good pet parents do. They make sure people like Mrs. Achara are taken care of as well. I will use her in the future when we are in West Sacramento. Our dog is almost 15 and she was committed to taking care of him in the way we felt was best for him.”

Right away I felt assured Katy was great with animals—she was gentle and warm with my pup upon arrival and sent me photos and updates throughout the day. She even did some training with my dog, sent a video, and offered some tips to me. Lola was surrounded with toys and love at Katy’s house!”

She made sure he got plenty of attention, some walking, and they just chilled together. The pics were very much appreciated and reassuring. Made it so much less stressful to be away. “For the time that I have know Alanis, I’ve seen a very strong sense of ambition, determination and curiosity. That’s not only with pets, but with life in general. I used to be a proud owner to a German Shepherd that unfortunately passed, but Alanis was always there helping me out, assisting me and being a friend to my dog. She would take him to the park and she would go hiking with us on weekends. My dog absolutely loved her and he had a strong connection/bond with her. I sincerely respect Alanis and without a doubt, I can vouch for her ability to connect with dogs, which is something that can turn out to be quite difficult for many. I believe she would excel in being a caregiver to any dog; I know I definitely appreciated all of her help.”
