“Lucy loves all animals and has a sensible mature attitude to their care. She has her own cat and has experience of exercising dogs. She is fit and healthy so is well able to take good care of even the most exercise-needy dogs. She has her own car so can travel to most sites (within reason). She is always punctual, reliable and unfailingly polite.”

“Rachael and her partner are lovely people and took great care of our 1 year old labrador, Mabel. They stepped in at very last minute to take care of Mabel after our dog sitter had to cancel. They responded quickly, asked questions and instantly made us feel at ease leaving Mabel with them. Mabel instantly adored them and we received updates throughout the stay which showed how much fun she was having. We came home to a very happy dog and a well kept house! Thank you again! :)”

12. Adam John G.
About: We have owned pets all our adult lives and now have my beautiful and social Goldendoodle called Rex. Adam rescued 3 cats of varying personalities and health needs for around 7 years. Adam also worked at the Cats Protection Rescue Centre in Gildersome and raised orphaned kittens from bottle feeding to cats with behavioural problems. We then helped raise Rex and his siblings from a few weeks old and kept Rex as our boy as he was smaller than his siblings and needed slightly more care. Rex is incredibly friendly and social with dogs and loves nothing more than to play and rest with other dogs. We generally work from home full time and this gives us ample time to ensure bookings received a lot of attention, play and care. We have a large house with a long fenced garden on the canal with a variety of toys and activities for dogs. We have amazing walks around our area but also enough room and variety to play indoors if the weather isn't great. We have a large, long, fenced and secure garden which is great for ball games and playing chase. We also have ample rooms and space for dogs to have their own space if needed. Our dog Rex is really playful and gets on with all dogs of all sizes, but also likes to snuggle on the sofa. Dogs are allowed on furniture, unless you tell us otherwise, and can sleep in our bedroom or have their own if they prefer.

About: I've been living my whole life surrounded by dogs and other pets. Neighbours, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and cuddle their pets. Back home in Italy my family and I have a dog called Denver. I miss not being able to play with him daily and walk him out. Being a pet sitter helps me to feel less nostalgic and keeps me motivated throughout the day! 😊 I recently graduate from the University of Leeds, so my schedule is pretty flexible at the moment. Pets won't be left alone, as it's my responsibility to look after them and make sure their owner is happy with my service. I'm available mostly every day as I work from home. Therefore, I can easily fit the pet care into my daily/weekly routine, and supervise guest pets 24/7. 🗓️ I live in a spacious house in Pudsey with my boyfriend, who also loves animals as much as I do and he's more than happy to help me looking after your pet. Guest pets are allowed to sleep mostly everywhere they like, on the sofa as well, but preferably not on the bed. I also have a little pet at home, a Leopard gecko called Yoko. She's absolutely gorgeous! 🦎 Your dog deserves the best, and I won't disappoint you. I always care about dogs behaviour and any changes due to the need of food, play, or approaches with other dogs. Your pet will be in safe hands, both in its/my house and during outdoor walks. 🐶

16. Becca H.
“Becca, has had lots of experience with animals from small animals to large animals She has had different experiences caring for animals for example on farms during lambing season to small hedgehogs in a sanctuary. She has been walking and caring for people’s dogs on the street and is now perusing her passion of animals with her vet bio degree. I can recommend no other person to care for your dogs, cats like Becca. She has a true caring nature that is unmatched.”
17. Madeleine G.
“Madeleine is quite simply, crazy about animals and dogs in particular! She is the kindest, most warm-hearted human who is also extremely responsible and capable. Your pet would be lucky to have a caregiver like Madeleine.”

About: I have had a dog ever since I was born so I have always been around dogs, I absolutely LOVE them. I would even say they are better than people!! I’m used to all different breeds and sizes of dogs and no dog is ever too much to handle. I like to think I get a good sense of what a dog is like just from spending a short amount of time with them. I have also owned 2 cats previously so I am super happy to offer a comforting friendly face for your furry friend. Rest assured, your dog is with genuine dog lover. I can't wait to meet them! I currently work full time from home so my working location can be very flexible. I have 2 dogs of my own so I am used to the routine of getting up at 5:30am to give them a good walk, breakfast and playtime before starting work (from home) I then finish work and take them for another long walk in the evening followed by dinner and playtime in the garden or living room ( weather dependant) so they’re tired out before bedtime. I am happy to stay in your home so you pet feels safe in their usual familiar environment or alternatively I have a fully fenced and gated garden at my home address, so there will be no escapees. However I would be looking to offer dog walking, day care services first, before offering boarding services to get to know each pup personally and to make sure you and your beloved pup are comfortable and all needs are catered for. I personally like to know my dogs feel at ease when staying with someone and that I’m not leaving them with a stranger, this is the relationship I’d love to build with you and your furry friend!

About: I've had dogs for almost all of my adult life. I love looking after them and currently have a female black lab (Aoife). I want to have more dogs in my life and get some company for Aoife. I work from home and can accommodate most types of dog. The only real requirement is that they are good with other dogs. I'm currently working from home. I have to be in the office 3 days a month so am usually available to care for a pet during the week. I have a small yard which I allow my dog to wee in rarely. I have 2 large areas of public green space on each side of my house which is where I usually take my dog to do her business. I like to take my dog out for 45 minutes at lunch time and an hour after work. I can reduce this if it's too much for your pup. I am pretty easy going with where my dog can go. I don't usually allow her to sleep in my bed but she is allowed on the sofa. The same would apply to your dog, unless you do things differently. Just let me know what you do with your dog and I can accommodate accordingly.
20. Tom B.
“Tom has had a dog for most of his childhood, into adulthood, giving him experience and making him aware of the importance of being a loving pet caregiver. Despite having the most experience with dogs, he loves all animals and would happily give them all the attention they desire. He is punctual and reliable, so is guaranteed to adhere to any schedule he is given. He is also knowledgeable of the area so can take pets on a range of walks, and he has access to his own car to take them out further if that’s something desired by owners/rover!”
