Since booking Caitlin, Bonnie, our dog, has sustained a very serious cut to her paw, The resulting bandages have caused sore spots on her leg so that she needs to wear a cone. Caitlin has dealt with totally caring for Bonnies needs, having removed the cone for a walk and replacing it. We came home to a very happy dog. We would strongly recommend Caitlin to any dog owner needing drop in or any other kind of care.”

“We have known Kirsty a long time and she has helped out walking our dog when we’ve been on holiday many times. Kirsty is a star….she is very patient and dog focused. We have a rescue dog named Bruce who is quite anxious at times and he is always very excited when it is walk times with Kirsty. “Grace is extremely responsible pet care giver, she has always had a keen interest in animals and has helped out at various different animal shelters including Shy Lowen and Freshfield animal sanctuary, along with providing care for pets we have at home. We have had a German Shepherd and currently have a Minature Pincher. Grace would rather be sat with dogs or cats than humans and this is what she does whenever there are animals around she just has a good nature and gives off a good loving energy to them, I think she would thrive in being able to help people out in looking after their animals.”

About: Hi, I’m Francesca! I’m currently a fourth year vet student at the Royal Veterinary College. I am happiest when spending time with animals, and I would love to provide pet care services for your dog/cat! I have been looking after pets for almost 2 years alongside my studies, and I have absolutely loved getting to know the personality of each and every dog I have cared for. As a pet owner myself, I understand that it can be daunting leaving your pet with someone else, which is why I aim to make the process as stress free as possible: I provide a (free) initial meet and greet, as well as regular updates with pictures as often as you would like! I have experience caring for my own dog, Daisy, a Springer Spaniel cross, who has plenty of energy and needs lots of stimulation. She has recently lost her vision almost entirely, and so I welcome any dogs with visual impairments as I feel confident in being able to manage this. I have experience with energetic dogs who require lots of play and interaction, as well as more laid back dogs who may require a slower pace. Just let me know what your dog needs and I will adapt my services to suit them. My goal is always to prioritise the individual needs of your pet to keep them happy and safe! I also have experience in owning cats, and I have previously been a volunteer at Freshfields Animal rescue (back at home in Liverpool) in the cattery, so I am used to following different dietary requirements and also administering medicine in food. I would love to help look after your pet, and love them as if they were my own! Please don’t hesitate to message me if you have any questions or requests, thanks for reading! I am a full time student and so my availability varies week by week! I am able to be quite flexible with my timetable so don’t hesitate to message with your required date and I’ll let you know if I’m available :) I will follow any instructions given by the owner, such as keeping dogs on leads at all times, or keeping them out of certain rooms in the house. Can also do small household tasks when house sitting if required, such as watering plants, taking in mail etc.

“Alice looked after my dog Maggie during a difficult transition period for us. Alice was amazing! She went above and beyond what I’d hoped for in a dog sitter and Maggie was soooo happy with her. When I’d pull up outside Maggie couldn’t wait to get out of the car and ran up to Alice’s door wagging her tail. She would run in like it was her own home. Alice always treated Maggie as if she were her own. She’d always have her back when out on walks and would take her out to cafes and on beach walks and send me photographs. Maggie even loved Alice and her partner enough for a sleepover! Even now that we’ve moved house we keep in touch so Maggie still has her friend Alice! Having a dog with separation anxiety can be very stressful and there’s so much trust needed to hand your dog over to anyone else to look after especially someone new. I trust Alice without question. If you need someone to be there for your dog, Alice is without doubt the best you could ask for!”

“Kelsey always looks after my dog on an informal basis when I go away for the weekend or on holiday for longer. I receive lots of pictures of her receiving cuddles on the sofa, long walks and treats. She even gets an occasional bath!”
