We took Olly to meet Dorothy beforehand to chat through all our needs and concerns and also to make sure Dorothy would be OK with Olly and all his little quirks. We were both a little anxious when it came to leaving him, but that soon disappeared when we were sent pictures and messages of him playing with his toys and eating his food, he was very happy and obviously being well looked after. We were able to keep in touch the whole time we were away which is also very reassuring. Will definitely leave Olly with Dorothy again with no concerns, couldn't be happier.”

About: I've got years of experience looking after dogs, cats and animals of all sizes. Currently find my house dog / cat free so would love to help look after your pets! Appreciate that going away and leaving your loved ones behind can be stressful so happy to do a meet and greet beforehand so everyone feels comfortable. If your dog needs a quiet environment or if they need tonnes of pets and scratches all can be catered for. As I work from home I can provide round the clock flexible care. Your dog would have the run of the house and the garden. Herrington Park and lots of other great walks are nearby and drives to the beach could also be provided if adventure is needed! I have 5 adorable rats and I've been looking after rats for around 5 years now. The rat pack has their own room so potential new friends would be kept separate! Although if your dog wants to say hi that could be arranged but the rats would be in their (luxurious) cage. I work from home doing a nerdy science job and have a very flexible schedule. I'd be happy to try and keep to your dogs current schedule with lots of play time around the house and walks to different places daily. I have a fenced garden and I'm happy for your dog to settle in how they like. There's only a few rooms in the house off-limits (the rats like to nap a lot). I'd be great to discuss any special requirements your dog may have and I'd make sure they're well looked after.

“Lucy was amazing with our 7 month old Cavapoo, Xena. I was a little worried about leaving her as she is so small, and had not stayed with anyone else before, and this was for 4 days. However Lucy was really understanding and reassuring. I was told that Xena cried for the first half an hour or so, but soon settled in. Maisie the golden retriever (Lucy’s dog) really helped to make my pooch’s stay even more fun. It had a really positive impact on her socially too, as Xena was a little anxious of big dogs prior to her stay, but as Maisie’s temperament is so chilled out, it has helped Xena relax around big dogs. Thank you Maisie! Lucy took Xena on so many little outings, and sent us updates and photos regularly throughout the stay, which really helped us to realise she was enjoying her little holiday too! We got all kinds of incredibly sweet photos, and it was relieving to know that she was so well taken care of. She made some doggy friends, and took trips to the beach, and had some star quality zoomies (with hilarious photos) and being car-less ourselves, having an option to have Rita picked up saves her (and us) the stress and time of taking the long bus rides which is so convenient. I would absolutely recomended Sima to others! We'll definitely be sending Rita back!”
