2. Marta A.
“We booked Marta to look after our 2 cats over the Christmas period. She arranged a meet and greet visit beforehand and it was obvious that she is an animal lover. She sent us daily updates and photos while we were away which was lovely. Marta also kept in touch on the day we were returning home to check what time we would be home and if she should set the pet feeder. We felt very reassured that our fur babies were well looked after and would definitely use Marta again!”

About: I started Rover this Autumn, but I’d had experience of looking after pets before. I’ve had 2 cats while I was living with my parents and both of them had kitties - a British cat and a Canadian Sphynx. Furthermore, I can say that I adore animals, and would love the opportunity to care for your pet while you’re away. Helping however I can. I enjoy walking dogs and playing with them. I don’t host more than 1 pet at a time, this way I can be sure to give your pet as much attention as possible. The only time I could consider having more than one pet at a time, if they were coming from the same family. I’m currently working from home and have a flexible schedule. It gives me an opportunity to give ample attention to your little friend during the day and any amount of walking they need (if applicable). I live in a house with my husband who also enjoys spending time with our little visitors wherever he has free time. We don’t have pets of our own, and have a fenced garden that is especially handy to have for escape artists. I watch all the pets carefully and make sure that they feel comfortable in the house. We have a park, a little forest and a few more good routes nearby that are nice for walking dogs. If I need to go to the owner’s home, I will strictly follow the given instructions.

“Hi, I have met Zuzana about 5 years ago when she walked my Labrador Coudy for the first time. Many times in the past she was helpful and dog sit Coudy and my parrot Ricky overnight. Over the years we became friends and have our love to animals as a common interest.”
6. Sophia A.

7. Kelly S.
“Kelly walked our rescue Dalmatian, Arlo for a number of years. Arlo absolutely loved his walks with Kelly and we felt at ease going to work knowing that Arlo would be so happy on his walks! The highlight of his week was seeing her arrive to collect him. Due to health issues Arlo was placed on a special diet and on a few occasions need some extra care. Kelly always made sure that Arlo was well looked after as we needed. Kelly was always flexible and accommodating.”

About: I've always had dogs in my family my whole life. I currently have 2 Border Terriers and I occasionally look after 2 more Border Terriers. I work from home everyday with a Part-time job. I can travel easily with my car at anytime of day or night. Message me to see what I can help with! When out on walks, I will make sure your dog is always kept on a lead and I'll make sure to listen to your dog's behaviors and signals to keep them safe! I will make sure that I only feed them treats and food that you have said is okay to fit with your dog's dietary requirements and I can make sure they have taken any medication they need to take - I have tricks up my sleeve!
10. Gemma B.
“Gemma looked after my cat Minnow for a few days and she was absolutely great! I’d trust her to do it again. My cat usually doesn’t take to strangers very quickly but she was comfortable enough to sit on her knee and get a cuddle and Gemma played with her a lot so she wasn’t bored, which I’m so happy about. It’s really nice to have found someone I can trust, that I know will do their best for my cat.”
11. Bethany C.

About: I've always had dogs growing up, small and mid size. I crrently have a gorgeous staffy at home- we would make sure to arrange a meet up before agreeing on any boarding bookings to ensure the dogs are a good fit. I love long walks and sometimes running as well if that's something your dog would enjoy. Can expect plenty of cuddles, love and attention. I'm happy to help out with bathing and grooming whilst your dog is at the house and will always take extra care and precaution for any dietary requirements or individual needs. I can offer boarding at my house (as long as there is a successful meet with my dog), boarding at your house, drop ins for feeding or short walks. Availability is mostly for evenings and weekends. I work most week days, with occasional days working from home which I could pre arrange if needed. I would be free for pet care mostly in the evening and at weekends. We have a small fenced garden and a friendly staff at home who would love some company. We live in a quiet area close to lovely local walks and parks I am used to walking small to medium sized dogs. My boyfriend would also be able to help out if needed so there would be two of us around most of the time We do not have any children
13. Henry C.
“Henry is someone that i have personally left my dog with a number of times, each time i have had full confidence that she would be looked after and cared for like she was his own pet. He has a spacious home which is excellent for pets to be able to explore and stretch their legs. I would certainly recommend Henry to any pet lover.”

15. sandra k.
“Hi Sandra K would be a fabulous asset to this Rover Scheme. She has her own little dog called Spud who she loves with all her heart. He is a pampered pooch and could not want for anything. The house is filled with lots of doggy toys to keep him happy. They go for many walks during the day. Sandra is a lovely bubbly person who loves all animals. Sandra K has looked after my two pooches in the past and they are a handful but I felt very at ease knowing Sandra K was in charge. I wholeheartedly would recommend Sandra K.”
16. Rebecca R.
“Klaus is a rescue dog who is usually very nervous of new people and new situations but Rebecca earned his trust very quickly and she’s probably his new favourite person in the world! There’s nobody I would trust more with him and I can fully relax when I’m away knowing he’s in great hands. Super reliable, communicative and great with dogs. Would highly recommend.”
17. Ben & Charl H.
“Charl and Ben are the perfect hosts to look after your puppy/dog. Their house is super clean and dog friendly. They both are fantastic with dogs. My puppy (working chocolate cocker spaniel) has stayed with them twice now and she can be quite a handful, but she's super loving and she instantly loved them both. She was taken on multiple walks in parks etc and was super well looked after. Couldn't recommend them enough :).”
18. Emily J.
“Emily loves dogs and your dog will have great company, she will treat your dog as her own. Give her a try and you won't be disappointed.”
19. Elizabeth F.
“I have known Liz for over 6 years, in this time there is no question of Liz’s trustworthiness and love of animals. As a friend, and a dog owner herself, Liz is the first person I would ask to look after my dog. I can fully relax knowing m dog is in safe hands and will be taken care of as if they are her own. She is very experienced on dog care and is always expanding her knowledge. In the time I have known her, I have seen her take in dogs in need of care, and watched those pets transform into very healthy and loved animals who were taken on as part of the family. Liz has a strong love for all animals, in particular dogs. When entrusted with pets, I can count on Liz to take care of them and they are treated as part of the family. She is extremely compassionate, dependable, honest and a sagacious person owner who I would highly recommend.”
