“Let me first start off by saying that I am very picky and selective about who I trust to take care of pets; especially my cat because he's like my own child to me lol. All my pets truly mean the world to me and I feel like it's my responsibility to hire someone who will take the very best care of them while we're away. My cat is prone to UTI’s that quickly escalate to total blockages in his bladder. It's a scary situation that can easily go unnoticed in cats because of their reluctance to show pain. I needed someone who would care enough to get to know him and therefore be able to notice “off” behavior that could indicate a emergency blockage. Amanda and her husband Josh took OUTSTANDING care of our cat, Presley, while we were away on vacation. From the moment I met Amanda at our initial meet and greet, I knew I liked her right off the bat. She is friendly, kind, educated, and asked all the right questions which allowed both my husband and I to get a feel for how she would handle any emergencies should they arise while we were away. Amanda is organized, upfront, and I can tell that she is not only a true animal lover but she also pairs that with tons of valuable experience as well. At the meet and greet our cat came downstairs and greeted her within 10 minutes when he normally takes a couple of hours to “warm up” to a brand new person. I knew right away she had experience with animals because of her body language and they way she interacted with him which was very important to me. He liked her and felt more than comfortable with her at the end of our meet and greet which was a great feeling. She followed all my instructions and left funny Rover cards after each visit with plenty of hilarious photos of our cat being his usual goof of a self. Reading the reports and seeing the adorable photos gave us such peace of mind that he was not only okay, he was also having a GREAT time at home being spoiled rotten and getting tons of love lol. When we got home we had a VERY happy and well taken care of cat. Amanda and Josh are easily going to be our first choices going forward when we need a pet sitter and I cannot recommend them enough or say enough great things about our experience with them! P.S. to Amanda: Presley wanted me to pass along the message that if you should ever find yourself parting with those rhinestone flip flops...he'll gladly take them off your hands...or feet LOL :)”

About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I remember. My parents even had dogs that had puppies so I’ve even taken care of fresh puppies. I’m currently a stay at home mom so care taking runs deep and makes me home pretty much all the time with a flexible schedule. I have a good sized backyard with a gated dog run equipped with a large dog house and bed. I will take them on fun walks. We will go to parks and play with my kiddos.

She understands dogs and dog behavior so well and knows how to handle our puppy and all his little kinks—she knows just what he needs to help him stay busy and release all that pent up energy! About: I’m new to rover but not new to babysitting dogs and cats. I've been running around with dogs ever since I could walk. When I was 5 we had a little dog pack all different shape and sizes. I'm pretty good at observing dog behavior and knowing their moods. I can also adapt pretty quickly to a dogs behavior and enjoy playing with the energetic ones. I have experience in giving dogs medication and giving baths. I'm currently going to school and aspire to be a veterinarian one day. I often take care of my aunt's dog, Chapo, whenever she can't be home. I also have been trusted to care for some family friends cats and dogs: -Atlas, Yona, Charlie, and Weasey. <3 Currently I'm going to school and have a part time job but looking for more work for when I'm not at school or work. My availability will change due to school and work. Currently my availability is: Sunday Mornings, Tuesday Nights, Wednesday Afternoon/Nights, Thursdays Anytime after 3, Friday Nights. Availability will open up more later once I organize my schedule around for school. For boarding I'm always available would just at least like a day notice so I can prepare the house. I currently rent out a comfty two-story house with a big gated fence in the backyard. Dogs that stay overnight have to be cat-friendly. Pet friendly environment inside the house with a cat tree, lounges, and with two litter boxes. My cat is up to date with his shots and is fixed. He is also friendly to dogs and other cats. A calm environment for both cats and dogs.

About: I have been dog sitting since i can remember, family members see the love and passion I have for dogs, I am always trusted when it comes to any type of care. I am currently a full time student but mainly in the mornings, I am unavailable from 10-12 and 2-3:30 every monday wednesday and friday. I am also in a extracurricular activity. I can work in any environment to ensure safety for your fur baby at all times. I will be in your home only for the amount of attention needed for your fur baby to maintain all their needs
