About: My family had a toy poodle growing up that I was in charge of raising and training when he was a baby. I now have a 5yo chiweenie named Moose who loves other small/medium sized dogs, and I've been pet sitting for friends and family for about 8 years now. I have had dogs of all sizes and personalities at home and they bring so much joy into my life <3 I'm also happy to come to your home if needed. I work from my apartment on a flexible schedule 4 days a week and am already in a rhythm of alternating between work and taking my dog out to go to the bathroom or taking a walk. We always do at least one solid walk around Loring Park every day, and sometimes add another one with a trip to the dog park. We're also very comfortable just cuddling up at home, so happy to adapt to your furbaby's personality! Because of my work flexibility, I can also pop out to take your dog for a walk or visit them whenever you need. If I'm house-sitting at your place, I can work from there and maintain your dog's regular schedule so they can experience a sense of stability while you're away. If at my home with my dog: My dog is up-to-date with his vaccinations and, because of a particular allergy, sees the vet once a month - so no concerns from him. My home is set up to be pet-safe. There's nothing dangerous that a small/medium dog can reach, get into, or run into. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and there are plenty of toys for them to play with - moose doesn't mind sharing :) If I'm in a client's home: I make sure to pay attention to any specifications about how you want your space to be treated and operate with the utmost respect for your space. I suggest we meet for an interview before we solidify the booking so you know who I am and you feel comfortable having me in your space. Routine/schedule/health: I make sure they stick to their regular feeding and walking routine - whatever you tell me they need. I pay close attention to their health patterns and make sure to communicate any concerns. And I always make sure we have access to veterinary services if needed. Communication: I try to share updates with clients throughout my time with their dogs and ask questions rather than assume if I do have a concern. I want you to feel assured that your furbaby is in good hands and being loved as well as they would be at home <3

About: The best 11 years of my life was raising Albert from 7.5 week old puppy to caretaker and best friend for nearly 11 years. I cooked his meals, on and off leash play daily. Big hikes and National Forests, swims, naps, teeth brushing, and love. Yet the reality is he really took care of me. I'm single and live at The Carlyle in downtown Minneapolis and work from home 5 days a week. My condo is a perfect environment for daycare for those not wanting their best friend and family member to be alone....to overnights. I also am committed to dog park adventures. Albert;s second home was the St Anthony Dog park. So for active dogs that love to run inquire within. *Dog park rate can be discussed. I work from home full time. M-F. I am able to attend to the needs of a pup with scheduled walks for potty and regular water, rest and food if need be. I live at The Carlyle in downtown Minneapolis. My condo is safe and secure with no balcony. 24 hour concierge. Daycare pick up by 5 pm.
