Over: I had dogs all my life, and I really like spending time with them, because I learn a lot of things from them and their actions. I’m a second year student in Hanze, but almost every afternoon i’m free and during the weekends I have a lot of disposability for the dogs. I really like to spend time with the dogs, play with them, being around them, and being aware of them, and giving everything they need.

Over: When my grandmother passed i took over the care of her dog, a super anxious cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I have always loved dogs, all sizes and breeds, but nothing made me happier than making sure she had the happiest end to her life as possible. I now occasionally take care of my dog-in-law (mother in law's dog) and we have worked hard on her obedience training. I like to work with helpful commands and creating a routine that is good for both dog and owner, such as waiting when crossing the road, approaching other dogs calmly, etc. Mostly I just want both of us to have fun :) I am available Mon-Thurs all day and the occasional weekend too. I have finished my studies and I am taking some time before my masters to enjoy life and develop in ways I haven't had time for before. I live in a small place so I try to be outside as much as possible. However, i am able to have a dog over for shorter periods of time or overnight. During the day i try to be as active as possible, both physically and mentally, but between walks i like to relax and cuddle on the couch. I also try to attend to the fur needs of the dog every day, if it's intense brushing or any paw care needed.

Over: My name is Elisa, i'm 30 years old, half-Brazilian and half-Italian, a dentist and i'm in Groningen to do my doctoral research at UMCG for a year. I've had pets all my life. In Brazil, I have a dog called Molly and last year I lost my 20-year-old cat GiGi. When I moved to Groningen in November last year, I chose to live in a house with a landlord cat, so I take care of her and we collect happy moments together. I love animals and for this reason I chose to sign up to the app and have the opportunity to supplement my budget and spend time with these little angels, either walking them or looking after them in their homes. Unfortunately I can't take them into my home, as I already look after the kitty, but I'm available to come to your house to look after them, take them for a walk and feed them. I don't give injections, but I can give oral medication by mixing it with food, as we do here at home. I'm available to answer any questions you may have and it will be a pleasure to take care and look after your four-legged family I'm available every day in the evening, on Thursdays and Fridays in the afternoon (and sometimes in the morning) and all day on weekends, vacations and holliday. I can't take pets into my home as I look after the landlords' kitten, but I can go to the owners' homes to look after and/or walk, feed, etc.

“Daniel is a responsible person with a very good ability to connect with and care for animals. He can read the moods and attitudes of dogs quite easily. I have seen Daniel break the ice with my senior dog, Alpha, who was initially aggressive and uncomfortable in the presence of unknown males. He then played with and took good care of her multiple times without any problems. I even saw his own dog, Whisky, respect and love him. I also witnessed Daniel giving Whisky a bath, a moment he typically dislikes. Daniel showed very good strength and attentiveness in keeping Whisky calm during the bath. I highly recommend Daniel as a very good and responsible dog-sitter and dog-walker.”

“I’m not used to getting external help for cat sitting as I have never needed it so reaching out to a stranger and finding someone else to look after my baby was a big step. Laura took away all my fears and made my trip so peaceful as she was so wonderful and kept me updated (and was patient if I kept asking her how my baby was doing). My kitty Mints loved her and seemed a bit disappointed that I had come back so soon. Laura knows exactly what’s she’s doing as she has a cat herself. Would definitely recommend her!”

Over: I started dog sitting when my best friend got her dog- Molly. Every time they went on vacations I would visit Molly 2 times a day to take her on a walk, feed her and play with her. Currently I am a full time student so just text me. As long as you do that we can work out a schedule! Have a great day! I would definitely prefer the client’s home due to the fact that I live in a shared apartment. However, if there is absolutely no way of that happening I will take the pet in my home!

Over: I have never fed a dog. However, my mother's friend used to leave his dog to take care of him for few days when she was far from home. I am open to take care of dogs to spend time together, feeding, playing games or take walking. I am currently a student at Groningen and I love animals so much. I can take care of both dogs and cats in my free time (mostly in afternoon) and weekends. Since I am an animal lover and miss my cat so much, you can be sure that I will take care of them like my own pet.

Over: I have a dog at my parents place with who I basically grew up with. I always go out for a walk with him and take care of him I’m currently working on my thesis which is why I am quite flexible and I have a lot of time to walk and take care of dogs I’m currently living in a quiet student home next to the noorderplantsoen which is a great location to go for walks. “Isa heeft 2 keer op mijn hond gepast toen ik op vakantie was. Na de eerste keer wist ik meteen dat ik nooit meer iemand anders wilde. Isa gaat zo liefdevol met dieren om dat ik meteen was verkocht. Verder vertelde Isa dat ze graag lange stukken wandelt en zelf ook is opgregroeid met honden. Dit was perfect voor ons omdat wij een grote hond hebben met veel energie. Ik had het idee dat onze hond goed luisterde en dat Isa hem goed onder controle kon houden. Als een echte natural. Zeker een aanrader!!”

Over: Ik heb zelf 8 jaar een hond gehad. Dit was een grote hond die enorm veel beweging nodig heeft. Ik liep daarom meerdere keren per dag grote afstanden met deze hond. Ik studeer aan de universiteit. Hier heb ik bijna geen verplichte uren meer, waardoor ik elke dag zelf mijn studie om andere dingen heen kan plannen! Ik heb dus eigenlijk altijd de tijd om een hond uit te laten! Het lijkt mij voornamelijk heel erg leuk om honden uit te laten. Ik zou dan met de hond naar een park/ de natuur in de buurt lopen. Dit is natuurlijk afhankelijk van de locatie.
